Ask a librarian offers an online reference service in Spanish.

Availability: Monday to Friday from 10 am to 14 pm and Monday to Thursday from 17 to 19 pm (local time)

To start a chat session users only have to fill in the form and click on "Chat". This service allows users to:

  • Chat in real time with specialized librarians
  • Co-browse web pages and electronic resources
  • Receive the complete transcription of the chat session by e-mail
  • Research in a global knowledge database

If you are using this service out of working hours you can ask your question filling in the form Ask by e-mail and you will get your answer before 72 hours.
